Aamu Song and Johan Olin have together made ripples in the world of fashion and design since they began their operations together in year 2000.
They have created works in various fields of design with mixed subject and method in fashion, furniture, graphic and environmental design.
Known for their out of the box designs, these two designers from Finland have caught the imagination of the critics world over with their amazing, fun packed designs.
Like in the picture given, the simple leather red school bag has an inbuilt hood, known as Hood Bag.
The name comes from backpack + hood = Hood bag!
It’s a simple yet stylish, interesting creation. One also needs to check their bizarre creations like dancing shoes, lucky shirt, etc.
As the designers say, that they are very traditional designers in the sense that they really want to make things for use, not just to be admired or looked at.
‘It is important for us that objects really suggest a use, that they make the users’ lives better, happier, funnier, more enjoyable...’
As per Aamu Song,
‘I can’t hold all my ideas in my own head; it will explode unless I take the ideas and realize them into prototypes, drawings or products. I would like to design things that have not yet been done; to bring out new ideas, to make the world bigger with them.’

Cute. but i wouldn’t be caught dead sporting one of these. i would rather wear a hooded jacket if I need a hood and carry a purse separately. and on top of that, red! not my type at all. i guess kids carrying it would look kinda cute. they would probably love it.
