Viktor & Rolf launch their first collection of handbags

Dutch designer duo Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren of the prestigious label Viktor & Rolf have announced their maiden handbag collection in a bid to expand their presence in the accessories market.

Victor & Rolf currently manufacture a shoe line available at their own boutiques and at Bloomingdale’s in the United States. The duo recently joined hands with Italian manufacturing company, Gibo to launch their first collection of handbags this spring. The collection features five exotic styles in silk satin, patent leather, lizard, woven raffia, and textured kidskin. The collection will wholesale from approx. $600 to $1,000.

Each of the chic handbags carry an equally chic name that mimics a conversation. There is a What’s Up bag which is a round-frame bag with the designer’s classic brand seal on it. There is a drawstring style bag that goes by the name I’m Fine. Just A Moment and Good Evening are the names of other two bags from the collection.

I hope this is the beginning of a merry conversation.
